To apply a redeem code:

  1. Go to the https://realvpn.io

  2. Sign in with your RealVPN account using the menu in the upper right corner

  3. Once signed in, open the dropdown menu under your account name and select Redeem a Code.

  4. In the opened window input your code and tap Apply button.

We do not keep logs of your online activities and never associate any domains or applications that yo,u use with you, your device, or email.

When you download the Real VPN app, connect to the Real VPN, or visit our websites, we and our third-party service providers automatically collect some information about you and your device. Below is the list of the types of Personal Information collected when you use our Services:

When you launch the Real VPN app, before you connect to the VPN, we and our service providers collect some device-specific information, such as

  • the unique mobile ID

  • hardware model

  • OS version

  • language

  • network information

We may also use but never log or store, your IP address to derive your approximate (city-level) location. We use this information to provide you with the best quality of connection and improve the Services, troubleshoot, and perform analytics on our services. Our service providers may collect IP addresses for marketing attribution purposes.

When you connect to the Real VPN, we collect your IP address, immediately encrypt it and store it only while you are connected to our VPN. We immediately delete your IP address once you disconnected from the VPN. We do NOT associate your IP address with your online activities and we do not store or log your IP address after you disconnect from the VPN.

We do not record any specific website visits or app usage by any specific user.

Before you begin to set up RealVPN IKEv2 connection on your Android device, you need to get your VPN account credentials from the RealVPN's User Settings.

  1. Sign in with your account at https://realvpn.io

  2. Open the dropdown Account menu and click Settings.

  3. In the opened window select the required VPN server you want to connect to.

  4. Then select the IKEv2 protocol from the list.

  5. Click Generate to get the connection data.

Now proceed to set up the connection on your Android device.

  1. From the Google Play Store install a strongSwan VPN Client.
  2. Open the installed app and tap Add VPN Profile.
  3. In the opened window enter the following data:
     
    • Server: paste the Domain name from the generated connection data
    • VPN Type: select IKEv2 EAP (Username/Password)
    • Username: paste Login from the generated connection data
    • Password: paste Password from the generated connection data
    • CA certificate: keep the checkbox enabled to Select automatically
    • Profile name: input any connection name, for example, RealVPN
    • Server identity: leave blank
     
  4. When you finish, tap Save.

Now you have the RealVPN connection established.

Use the strongSwan VPN Client to enable\disable VPN connection.

Before you begin to set up RealVPN IKEv2  setup, you need to get your VPN account credentials from the RealVPN's User Settings.

  1. Sign in with your account at https://realvpn.io

  2. Open the dropdown Account menu and click Settings.

  3. In the opened window select the required VPN server you want to connect to.

  4. Then select the IKEv2 protocol from the list.

  5. Click Generate to get the connection data.

Now proceed to setting up the connection on your MS Windows computer.

  1. Click Start button in the bottom left corner of the screen (the one with Windows logo). Go to "Settings".

  2. Go to "Network & Internet".

  3. Select "VPN" in the menu on the left.

  4. Click "Add a VPN connection".

  5. For the "VPN Provider" select "Windows (built-in)".  The connection name can be any as you like.  For example RealVPN.
    "Server name or address" is the server address that you obtained on the RealVPN website.  Select "IKEv2" for "VPN type".

    *Be sure to write in the full hostname, not the IP address.  Windows requires the full hostname.

  6. Scroll the window and select Username and password option for Type of sign-in info.  Fill the "Username" and "Password" fields.
    For manual setup, username and password are your credentials obtained on the RealVPN website.  Check "Remember my sign-in info" and click "Save" button.

  7. Now you will see the newly created connection. Click it.

  8. Click the "Connect" button.

  9. Once RealVPN is connected and you can view the "Connected" status.

  10. You can also check the VPN status in the Network applet (the icon in your system tray at the bottom right).

  11. Done. You are connected.

Before you begin to set up RealVPN IKEv2 connection on your macOS computer, you need to get your VPN account credentials from the RealVPN's User Settings.

  1. Sign in with your account at https://realvpn.io

  2. Open the dropdown Account menu and click Settings.

  3. In the opened window select the required VPN server you want to connect to.

  4. Then select the IKEv2 protocol from the list.

  5. Click Generate to get the connection data.

Now proceed to setting up the connection on your macOS computer.

  1. On your Mac open System Preferences > Network.

  2. Click + button to create a new service.

  3. In the opened dialog select VPN as Interface, IKEv2 as VPN Type and input any name for this new VPN service, e.g. RealVPN.

  4. Click "Create".

  5. Now input the Server Address from the connection data list which you have generated, use the same data for Remote ID, leave the Local ID empty and tick Show VPN status in menu bar checkbox.

  6. Next click the Authentication Settings button and in the opened dialog use the generated connection data and fill Username and Password.

  7. Click OK and then Apply. Now you have the VPN connection set.

  8. Click Connect in the same window to connect to the VPN
